We went to a ton of places on the first day in the city: Mirabell Gardens, Playgrounds, Mozart House and Birth House, Toy Museum, Musuem of Modern Art...
Mirabell Gardens were really nice, even in November.
There was a sweet huge slide at the playground...oh, and some random statue, but he didn't look like he enjoyed the playground as much as our kids.
Yup--you slid really fast.
Mozart's living house. We bought the Salzburg Card, which allowed us to enter most of the main attractions/museums around Salzburg. We loved it because it enabled to go into these places, and if the kids weren't digging it, we could leave with having spent 6 euros each for 10 minutes.

We then rode the elevator to the Museum of Modern Art. This is not a typo--we took a 4.5 yr old and a 2.5 yr old and a 9 month old into the Museum of Modern Art. Not the smartest idea at 4pm (and honestly us adults weren't disappointed by the quick departure either). We structured our days differently after this day--if we wanted to do adult stuff, we did it in the morning and always kept kids stuff in the afternoon.

Looks like you guys had a blast in Salzburg! Did you get another condo deal for $349 on the AFVClub website? That place rocks, I'm trying to talk Brian into hopping to Europe when he gets back, and there are tons of places on that website! Have a good Christmas! I still don't know how you travel so well and so often with three kids! Good job!
