Trier, Germany, is the oldest city in Germany and is about 30-45 minutes south of Spangdahlem. We went there on Saturday to walk around and have some lunch. I think we will make many more day trips to Trier.
Nothing says Trier like street music performers.

I remember being in Trier on one of our visits to the Russelburg's. I thought it was such a neat place. Hope to get back there on our next visit to Germany when we visit the Edgar's.
