After going to Amicalola Falls, we went to Fort Mountain State Park.
A nice view along the road.
We hiked from the Old Fort Picnic Area out to the West Overlook, then to Fort Mtn and back.
A quick game of hide-and-go-seek on the hike.
We wish these mountains were closer!
Time to build a balance beam in the backyard.
On to Big Rock Nature Trail.
The sign said 3/4 miles and "moderate" difficulty. We said "whatever." Half way into the hike we learned why it was moderate.
The first half was easy because it was all down hill...
...the second half was obviously up!
No comment.
