7 Apr -- Volterra, Italy (Day 3)

On to Volterra!

Pizza!  Henry actually sat and ate his pizza with patience.

"What is the fort?  Where is the entrance?"  Anna then reads from the travel book: "These walls once kept people out; now they keep people in.  The castle has been renovated to a prison in Volterra."  Nice.

More soccer.  I swear a boy named Fabio joined us.  Charlie said, "Fabia?"  His parents said, "No, no. no.  Fabi-O."

 A cool Roman theater.

Charlie puts on a show.

We missed getting gelato in Volterra so we stopped by Colle Di Val d'Elsa.

Is anybody eating their own gelato?

We never bought one specifically for Henry, but I think he made out alright.
