31 May -- Wake Up
I woke up this morning to the sound of silence. I rolled over and looked at the clock and it said 7:12! Then as I got out of bed, feeling good about the day, I looked over and realized I didn't have the baby monitor turned on to hear the kiddos upstairs. Whoops. Well, still, I got to sleep to 7. That's a good day in my book! I then went upstairs to get the kids, who were playing very nicely in the playroom.

29 May -- The Weekend and Eifelpark
Maya's owner may never get her back!
Fun on stairs (Mom, is this one of my dresses? I can't remember where I got it)
Eifelpark race track
This is one happy boy
I affectionately call this one the washing machine. You run in it like a hamster wheel
My friend Erin was constantly nursing someone's injuries. Not the safest, but definitely one of the most fun toys!
Do not attempt to get on or off while the wheel is turning. You just ask for trouble
Jane thinks this tractor's da best!
Anna and Jane. They'll keep the sunblock companies in business this summer!

27 May -- Happy Birthday, Charlie (The Real Day!)
Charlie is 4 years old today. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. It seems like yesterday Dan and I were playing Skip-Bo in the labor room and being scolded by a nurse for not resting instead. He has broken us in as parents and continues to surprise us with his thougtfulness, gentle nature and helping hands. He has a stubborn streak (like his Mother) and can produce screams louder than any other child I've known. He can make us laugh with his silly faces and make me crazy with his desire to assist me with every chore. He is sweet and kind to his sister and brother and they are so lucky to have him for an older brother. He is truly a beautiful boy and I'm so blessed that God chose him for my son. I couldn't ask for a more polite, loving, caring child. Charlie, I love you so much, I could make a sandwich out of you!
Whatta face!
Rocket Ship by request. Note to self : Buy 2 tubs of frosting next time creating a spaceship masterpiece.
I hope his wishes all come true
Could you ask for a better face when giving a gift?

22 May -- Just new pics
Who doesn't love to get caught after nap asleep with a bag on your head?
Yes, those are socks on her hands. And I have no idea why.

19 May -- Pancakes
I made 22 pancakes this morning. By the end of breakfast there were 6 left. I ate none of these pancakes. Henry ate none of these pancakes. Jane ate 4. That means my son ate 12 pancakes. These are your typical 4"+ pancakes. He would have kept going but I reminded him that he said he had a bellyache prior to eatiung the pancakes and he sheepishly set the pancake he was about to douse in syrup back in the tupperware. Crazy kid.

17 May -- The Kiddos
Henry's 3 months old yesterday and changing every day. He's smiley and pleasant, but he definitely is a people person. He has to be where the action is all the time. Charlie and Jane are doing well. Charlie's still practicing his bike-riding skills and Jane's practicing her potty skills. Charlie's practicing is going far better than Jane's.
They've been watching their favorite video of Daddy reading books. Henry was fussy during Charlie and Jane's bath so I set him in front of the Daddy video and he immediately zoned out. Jane gave the TV a hug and said, "I love you, Daddy" and Charlie is reciting the words along with Dan. Needless to say, this video is as good as any Pixar flick!

2 May -- Charlie rides a big bike!
Charlie's early birthday extended through another weekend with the gift of a big-boy-bike. He has been asking for a "bike with pedals" for a little while now. He made the transition from his balance bike to his new bike pretty quickly. Enjoy the pics.
Always time for some fine tuning.
