After Biersdorf Am See, instead of driving home, we drove to Wittlich. You gotta love a good GPS! Wittlich is about 10 minutes northeast of Spangdahlem. There is a pig festival there this weekend. There were bands playing on stages, a flea market where we bought Charlie a wooden sword, and best of all...there was awesome ice cream! Anna continues to amaze me with her ability to speak German and at least keep food in our bellies when we are traveling about.
