We stayed in the valley and hiked around Lake Eibsee.
There was a nice light drizzle but we were good to go!
We kept looking for dragons to appear through the mist.
The highlight for the kids was the portion of the hike where they could follow a sweet trail alongside the lake.
Victory! 7km (4.3 miles) down...
...time for a quick car ride...
...and then some Italian ice!
