Henry is 2 weeks old today. He's been a super sweet and is a very wise looking baby. I think he knows more than he's letting on. His eyes are looking pretty blue, but I'm still kinda holding out hope for a brown in the end. He had his 2 week check up this morning and weighed in at 10 lbs 9 oz. The doctor seemed impressed that he'd gained back the weight he lost after birth, plus another 1/2 pound on top of that. I figure if he's anything like his brother, he won't have any problem in the weight gain category.
We're doing well. My Mom's here and keeping our house sane while Dan's gone on a TDY for 3 weeks. Dan's parents left on Friday and we were soooooo happy to have them here holding down the fort during the birth and after. Charlie and Jane have never had so much attention! Hopefully we didn't scare them off from future visits after being cooped up in the house for the 2 weeks because of crummy weather.
We had blue skies today and went on a walk around town. Henry seems to like the strolls outside and the big kids (is that right, to call my almost 2 and almost 4 year olds "big kids"?!) definitely enjoyed riding their bikes and greeting every German we passed along the way "Hallo!" and "Tschuss!".
We have some troublesome computers in this house currently, which is the reason for the lack of posting and the lack of pics in this post. I will try to muddle through the photo posting tomorrow, though, so that you can see Henry's latest pics.
