1 Feb -- Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon

Yesterday we went to the Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon and it was awesome. The weather was a balmy 50F and the sun was out. The fortress is 200+ years old and beautifully restored. The hike to the top of the hill was quite the challenge and we feel it in our legs today.

The view from the top was cool.
Charge!

The hike to the top was exhausting, but we were reassured when we saw other people at the top panting, too.

No, this isn't the Battle of Gettysburg.

Charlie walked up most of the steps by himself.

One of the guard towers on the western side.

It's official: my Ergo has been more places than I have.

Dan and Anna we love looking at all your Korea travels. Anna, I love your Ergo, is it your favorite sling? I have the Baby Bjorn, a wrap and a ring sling and they all hurt my neck after a while. I may need to get an Ergo if it is easier on the neck and back. Hope all is well in the Land of the Morning Calm.

I love the "charge" picture! What, did he decide he didn't want to be in the picture and then go after the guy taking your pic? I love how it is an action shot! You can actually see the dust behind Dan....haha!
