22 Jun -- New York City: Goodbye NYC; Day 5

I never would have thought we would have such a great time in New York City!

Time to go!

 Northward bound.

21 Jun -- New York City: Central Park; Day 4 / Part 6

After the Museum of Modern Art, we headed for Central Park to set the kids free.

George knows a thing or two about product placement.

A quick game of chess and checkers...at the Chess and Checkers House in Central Park.

Bethesda Fountain.

We checked out a couple other playgrounds, but they were for younger kids, so we went back to the playground from our first full day.

Pizza again!

Out hotel.

The Chrysler Building lit up at night.

21 Jun -- New York City: The Museum of Modern Art; Day 4 / Part 4

Next stop: The Museum of Modern Art.

The kids recognized this one from of their books.

And it's time to leave!

21 Jun -- New York City: Times Square; Day 4 / Part 3

After visiting the Top of the Rock, we set off for Times Square?

Jane saw the Korean food truck and asked for a quick pic.

It's amazing how peaceful flowing water can be -- even in the middle of a busy city.

Times Square at last!

Henry tries to contain his excitement.

21 Jun -- New York City: Top of Rockefeller Center; Day 4 / Part 2

To the Top of the Rock!

We went to the top of Rockefeller Center.  It was incredible!

The weather was perfect and you could see Central Park on one side.

Henry is not interested in Central Park.

From the other side you could see the Empire State Building.

I know -- tons of pics -- but the view was pretty cool.

" I think I see Uncle Nate!"

 Which was next?...

Down!  The kids liked riding the escalators like "Elf" when he went to NYC.
