On Sunday we went for a hike at the Street Audubon Nature Center. It was a bit wet/soggy...we shall have to return when this place dries out a bit.
We had a good time by the pool.

20 Aug -- Pool Party
By the way...a pool party just means we are swimming in the pool--but since there are 6 of us, it feels like a party!
Inspired by the Olympics.
20 Aug -- Bok Towers, Lake Wales, Florida
On Saturday we went to Bok Towers in Lake Wales, Florida...a quick 15-minute drive.
It was a really nice place!
The grounds were super well kept and Henry didn't want to waste a minute!
The "singing tower" has a 60 piece carillon bell set that plays frequently. The music was beautiful and can be heard throughout the grounds.

19 Aug -- Assumption of Command
I assumed Command of the 598th Range Squadron at Avon Park Air Force Range.
We had the Avon Park High School JROTC Unit do the Color Guard -- they were great!

The guys flew four jets down from Moody Air Force Base.
