26 Oct -- Thomas the Train in Cordele, Georgia

We took the kids today to Cordele, Georgia, for a "Day with Thomas."

 Henry is psyched!...

 ...but the enthusiasm fades as we drive on.

The train ride by the lake was quite nice.

 There were a bunch of activities for the kids, such as a hay maze.

 Putt putt golf!

 Best of all -- there was fried dough!

17-19 Oct -- USAFA Demo

I got to fly an A-10 out to Colorado Springs to do a demo flight.  It was pretty fun.

 This is one of the gliders I flew in 1997 when I went to the Academy for a 2-week soaring program.

 A nice hike before the football game.

 Not quite the same as Penn State...nothing like having to go to a football game in your blues...

 ...and without alcohol.

 On the morning we flew home.
