19 Jul -- Marshall Gulch Trail #3, Mt Lemmon, AZ

We drove up Mt Lemmon this morning to hike the Marshall Gulch/Aspen Trail Loop.  We started out on what we thought was the Aspen Trail...but it was not.  So we turned around and went on the more forgiving Marshall Gulch Trail which was MUCH more enjoyable.  Here is a link to trail info:  http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=1052

 This is about the time we turned around.  There was a 100' drop to the stream below...nothing but rocks and water = time to turn around.

 Where could Jane and Henry be?

 We knew we were on the right trail when a 3-ship of septuagenarians stopped to coo at George.

 

 At about a mile in, we stopped for lunch.

 Jane carried along some HUGE chunks of bark so she could build a bridge if required as we crisscrossed the stream about 8 times in each direction.

 

 We made it!

18 Jul -- Brandi Fenton Park, Tucson, AZ

We took the kids to the Brandi Fenton Splash Pad to enjoy another super sunny day in Tucson.  In addition to the splash pad, there is a really nice set of playground equipment.

 If only this thing poured slime like on Nickelodeon.

17 Jul -- Pool Pics

Yup...more pool pics.  But they are fun, so enjoy.  George got in the pool this time!

 Anna likes to launch the kids in the air and does a pretty sweet job at it!  Henry is a legitimate rocket...

15 Jul -- Anna Reading to George

Anna was reading to George the other night and it looked like a classic photo.

12 Jul -- Mikie Visits Tucson!!

We were lucky enough to have my brother Mikie stop by Tucson during his whirlwind cross-country expedition.  It was a brief visit, but it made us all pretty darn happy!

13 Jul -- MC Motorsports Park, Tucson, AZ

I took Charlie to a motocross race last night at the MC Motorsports Park.  It was pretty cool!






 The race wasn't as loud as the one last weekend, so we didn't have to wear the headsets.






We walked around the perimeter of the race to watch "the big jump."


This is the start of one of the bigger races with about 20 racers.

This is the first turn after the start, which then goes right into "the big jump."
