21 Jan -- Tanque Verde Falls, Tucson, AZ

Today while Anna continued the potty training of Henry, I took Charlie and Jane on a nice hike at a trail off of Redington Pass called Tanque Verde Falls.

You don't scare me threatening sign!

The walk down took about 25 minutes.

We ate lunch at the bottom and hung out for about an hour.

 Charlie and Jane pondering...

Well look who we ran into!  Dan saw his boss (Col "Biggles" Thompson) from when Dan was here in Tucson from 2003 to 2004.

 Almost at the top.

After the picture, Charlie said, "Take a look, I used my new smile."  Ok...

5 Jan -- Sabino Canyon, Tucson, AZ

We had another great day at Sabino Canyon.  The water is just too much fun to pass up!

We ran into a friend -- Stephanie!

 Jane loves giving Charlie tickle-hugs.

I am not sure what Jane is doing here.

 Mmmm...lunch!

The camelbaks for the kids seem to be working out nicely.  Next time I think we will not pack as much water and stuff their lunch in the pack instead!

It was pretty loud at the base of the dam.

 Time to kiss Mommy's belly.

Jane told the baby: "It is okay, you will be out soon."

Charlie said, "Watch this!" and then ran over the slight mound and jumped.

3 Jan -- Sabino Canyon, Tucson, AZ

We hiked at Sabino Canyon and had a blast.  We hiked for about 3.2 miles--not too shabby with little ones!  Henry enjoyed riding on Dan's back a lot and snuggling up to Anna so she would carry him.  His hair is so fluffy it is hard for Anna to say no despite being 30 weeks pregnant!

 Charge!

 Real trees in the background!

Like any other outing of ours: Movement for an hour + snack of juice and crackers + more movement of another hour = great success.

 Water!

I may have said something sarcastic to earn such a face from Anna.

 More water.

 One of Henry's breaks.

 "I love you Mommy..."

 Lovely sign.

A Ranger on the trail gave the kids stickers and tattoos.
